We are delighted to invite you to join us at the Balfour Winery, Staplehurst on Saturday 14th June 2025 at 6.00pm for drinks and a gourmet barbecue. Nestled in the Kent countryside, but within easy reach of Marden Station, with its direct link to London, we are excited to be holding this new event in such a captivating location. This event is open to Prep and Senior School parents, past parents, current and former staff, Old Suttonians and other members of the SVS community.
We will be hosting the event on 'The Mezzanine', a beautiful upstairs area and large balcony, with captivating panoramic view of the estate and vines beyond. This space also houses an impressive and unique collection of art. On the eve of our 450th anniversary celebrations (which officially start in September), we hope to use this as an opportunity to kick start the celebrations in earnest and provide you with more details about what we have in store throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.
Tickets for this event are £32.50 and include a gournet barbecue and two glasses of Balfour sparkling wine. Please note that this event is only open to those over the age of 18.
The Winery offer a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Marden Station during the evening.
